Graduated and Have a Master degree from Faculty of The holy Quran at Al-Azhar University as I have several Ijazaat in Quran Recitation, Tajweed and Qira'aat beside several courses in English language with Islamic English and general as well as I have been working as a Quran and Islamic studies teacher for 5 years to the Arabs and non- Arabs at several academies.

Ustadha Layla taught Arabic to non-native speakers for over a decade before co-founding Maawa. She designs the teacher-training programme that every instructor passes before meeting a single student.
